Welcome to The cPanel Guy website! Here you will find articles pertaining to various tips, tricks and tools for administration of a cPanel and other Linux based servers. cPanel is a robust hosting system front-end that is widely used in the hosting and shared hosting industry.
My name is Jason Potter. Red Hat certified, I have more than a decade of experience with cPanel servers and various other Linux based hosting systems. I even have some spattering of Windows hosting experience but have shifted my focus to Linux based solutions for the past decade. I have spent a large portion of that time working with supporting customers and managing these types of systems. I am always eager to help put forth solutions to common problems encountered in the field or with cPanel.
I am also an avid fan of superior documentation. I have always found it disheartening how abysmal most developer provided documentation can be. I see things from the end-user perspective which offers a unique vantage point over writing documentation from behind the front lines. I plan on filling this blog up with my most common tips, tricks, walk-through tutorials, tools and other custom solutions that I’ve happily provided to individuals over the years.
Thank you for taking the time to read over my introduction. I hope you find what you’re looking for here.
